About Me - Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Julie Fidalgo's Hollywood dreams came to life at an early age. She first hobbled onto the stage at the tender age of three, taking jazz dancing lessons to begin her life-long love affair with the limelight. Her newfound passion for dancing enabled her to study ballet for nine years, as well as jazz, tap and point. As she honed her dancing styles, Julie was exposed to the exciting world of traveling as she followed her father's career from Brazil to Canada to the United States.

At age 12 she began her acting career, enrolling in Boston's famed Boston Conservatory in the hopes it would one day lead her to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Through her middle school and high school studies in Brazil and the United States she began to mold her on-stage presence via school productions and acting classes. High school served as a catalyst for other passions too, namely Communications/Media Studies. This led her to a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies and a minor in PR, Marketing and Advertising from Emerson College in Boston, MA. During her college years she never lost sight of her original goals and her love for the Performing Arts-especially acting. Julie was able to temporarily quench her thirst for acting by enrolling in some courses at Emerson.

After college, Julie quickly set out to transform her acting dreams into reality as she attended the New York Film Academy's one-year intensive acting course in Los Angeles. Her love for the craft quickly got the attention of her peers and instructors, who praised her talent, drive and focus. Upon completion of the NYFA course, she set out to further sharpen her acting skills with an intensive course at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, where she studied under Ron Stetson.

Julie is currently studying at the acclaimed Beverly Hills Playhouse under Allen Barton and Art Cohan as she looks to the future with the same optimism and drive that gave birth to her Tinseltown dreams and Hollywood hopes as a young girl in Brazil. Julie is also producing and starring in a short film.
